Mark loves his upright bass. Always on top of the Rattler's bottom end, Mark is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and Haywood County native.

Mark is well-travelled with journeys to Mexico and Papau New Guinea. His bass playing is strongly influenced by the rhythmical drumming of the tribal natives.
